I also attend the Four Seasons Market in the Market Square, Potton, which is usually the 2nd Saturday in March, June, September and December, from 9 until 1pm.

Located in the village hall, you'll be able to purchase everything you need for a foody weekend, including rare breed meat, vegetables, eggs and pies from Parkside Farm, freshly baked cakes and pies from the lovely Lisa, Hot tea, coffee biscuits from our Shirl, Jams and marmalade from Chapel Preserves, Dave the fish man, Lloyds chutneys, sauces, Biltong and cheeky homemade wine and not to forget my bread alongside Lino's Delicatessen with cured meats, speciality cheeses and everything for a picky tea, plus some wonderful pop up stalls on the day, phew!

2nd and last Friday of every month

Nothing short of delight at this bustling community led market, with warm welcomes of tea, coffee cakes and oodles of smiles, laughs and local banter. Bread, chocolate, vegetables, cheese, pickles, pies, eggs and meat and deli, preserves.


St. Faith's Church, Hexton, Herts, SG5 3JD
3rd Friday of every month. 

Find me with Lino's Deli, Mrs Middletons Oil, beef, pork game and scotch eggs from Meadow Farm in Holwell, Lamb from Yvonne,  free range eggs,  freshly baked cakes, local honey and jams, the apple man (when in season), the fish man and the freshest vegetables you can get.  Why not make a regular date in your calendar and stock up?

St Mary's Church in Pirton
LAST Friday of every month.

Join me or my mate Shirl Girl at in this beautiful village, where you can get refreshments before our after your visit.  I'll be here with Kate from Meadow Farm with her beef, pork, ham Eggs and Game,  Lino and his Pate, Charcuterie and Cheeses, Cakes and scones from L&J Bakes,  local village jams and chutney, Charles the apple man and some wonderful seasonal pop-ups.

Riverside and The Cloisters in Hitchin Town Centre
LAST Saturday of every month.

There is a real buzz at this monthly market where you can buy delicious artisan food and drink from an array of stalls, find unique hand-crafted gifts and treats for your home and even enjoy some amazing streetfood whilst you shop.  You will find me next to the Cheese-teller (Oh yes, my kind of utopia)!

Market Square
Quarterly on a Saturday- remaining dates for 2018: 8th December.

Come rain, wind or shine, you will always find some cheer at this friendly local event.  As well a variety of stalls in the market square, there are even more stalls in the village hall where some very talented crafters have been hard at work creating some beautiful items for you to buy. I was lucky enough to appear on the Great British Bake Off Extra Slice in September 2017 with Jo Brand, Jonathan Ross, Kerry Godliman and none other and old blue eyes,  Mr Paul Hollywood! He said the enormous sourdough loaf was "fantastic" for the size and they enjoyed my funky flavours (well, most of them!!).  

I also appeared in the news in 2014, for about 3 minutes, but I was on Anglia, Meridian and Central - and they were only the ones that I heard about!  Shame about the mistake about the bread ingredients, see if you can spot it for yourself in this clip: Jo's Loaves Micro Bakery in East Anglia
